sun hpc consortium, 21.6 - 23.6.2009 hamburg

saturday i will travel to hamburg to join the "sun hpc consortium" in hamburg.

i'm personally interested in general trends in hpc systems like ssd, amds new products - and of course in meeting andy bechtolsheim at monday morning.
also, tuesday a special nvidia workshop will take place, hands-on-cuda :)
the agenda is full of nice themes...

mac os x: two finger scroll doesn't work


The correct value in the users global preferences file for
com.apple.trackpad.scrollBehavior is 2 to enable scrolling.
To set it correctly open a terminal window and type the following:

defaults write -g com.apple.trackpad.scrollBehavior 2

You will have to log out and back to see the setting change. Worked for me.
you can check your current setting by typing:

defaults read -g com.apple.trackpad.scrollBehavior
